About Fathers and Sons

Picture this: an endless expanse of open ocean, waves crashing, winds howling, and five determined men rowing relentlessly toward the horizon. Two fathers—veterans of both military service and ocean rowing—have joined forces with their sons to take on the Mid-Pacific in 2026. This is not just a test of endurance; it’s a statement. A statement about resilience, about pushing beyond limits, and about the power of shared adventure to bridge generations.

But this journey is about more than just personal achievement. It’s about impact. It’s about inspiring families to reconnect, challenging young people to step outside their comfort zones, and proving that with teamwork, courage, and determination, even the most formidable obstacles—whether at sea or in life—can be overcome.

Today’s children face challenges unlike any generation before them. The pressures of social media, the rise in mental health struggles, the decline of outdoor adventure, and the constant expectation to achieve—these forces are shaping a generation that is more connected digitally but more disconnected in reality. Many young people are missing the chance to build resilience, to struggle, to fail, and to grow stronger because of it.

That’s why this mission matters. This is about reclaiming adventure and redefining masculinity. It’s about showing the next generation that the most meaningful experiences happen away from screens, in the real world, through perseverance, teamwork, and the courage to face the unknown.

Both fathers taking on this challenge have spent their careers serving their country, but military life doesn’t just affect the person in uniform—it shapes entire families. That’s why this challenge is partnered with a military charity, to shine a light on the sacrifices made not just by soldiers, but by their loved ones as well.

And we are not stopping there.

Our campaign has clear goals:

To foster generational experiences that transform and inspire.

To raise awareness—and critical funds—for causes that matter.

To build a movement that encourages meaningful connections and outdoor challenges, with the long-term vision of expanding this impact.

Our targets are ambitious, but so is our mission:

We aim to connect with over 100,000 followers across platforms.

We’re setting out to break a Guinness World Record for the youngest person ever to row across an ocean.

We’re committed to raising over £100,000 for charity.

And we are laying the foundation for an organization dedicated to outdoor adventures that support fathers and sons in achieving their full potential.

This journey is about showing the next generation that resilience is built through experience. That growth comes from struggle. That the greatest challenges in life can be overcome—not alone, but together.

So, I invite you—follow us, support us, and most importantly, believe with us. Because together, we’re not just crossing an ocean. We’re building something that lasts.

Thank you.
